Ok, so I got some great feedback yesterday on track options and decided to use a 1.375" arctic track (128"). Called my local dealer this afternoon to place the order when told me he'd found some other 128" tracks laying around, one 1.5" and two different 1.7".
So, more thinking and another decision that has to be made... What lug height do you think is suitable for a 50/50 mix of on-trail/off-trail riding? Will 1.7" eat hyfax and will I have to change gear and/or clutching to make it work?
I haven't been to his shop yet to have a look, but one of the 1.7"'ers is called 1602-657. The pattern is very open and quite different from the -546. Anyone have any opinions about wich one is preffered?
The 1.5" (-410) I've have no idea how it looks.
