Is a 05 stock skid a direct bolt-in to a 03 tunnel?

I'm looking a picking-up a 05 Promountian skid abd installing it into my 03. Will it be a direct bolt in or are the mounting locations different. It looks like the rear bracket location is the same but I couldn't really see the front mounting location. Any help would be appericiated.

I'm pretty sure it's not. I believe the location of front holes are different - just like on the apex skid frame. I not sure, but I believe it the same location on the holes as on the apex skid frame, but there should be someone on here that could give you exactly measurements.


If it's the same as the apex skid frame I have a template for you. Just let me know.

I've got the apex tunnel and skid in my rx-1 the only difference I could see is possibly the rear bracket location. I am positive the front mount is the same, I would check but someone stole my old tunnel - go figure? Couldn't give an 03 rx-mtn tunnel away.

Front and rear mounting points are different.

both mount points are different,but its not to dificult to install.the improvement in ride is well worth the effort,not to mention the weight savings
