IS IT OK TO GUT APEX EXAUST?????

i found plenty of posts on gutting the rx1 exaust but couldn`t find much on the apex. does it hurt performance or mess with the fuel injection???and what length stud is everyone running on the 1.25 ripsaw. ive seen one with 1.750 and looks like they haven`t hit. thanks for any help.

We tried that, lost 3HP but did save some weight. We haven't found another pipe that makes as much HP as the stk Apex pipe.

You cannot go over 1.375 long studs without adding protection..

Even my 1.325 have hit a few times .. (due to balloning on a lake)

Mine is studded at 1.375 with no problems or studs hitting.
no idea about the exhaust

Same here 1.375 not enought clearance for 1.75 studs. The track Apex even at 1.25 has minimal clearance.

i took another measurement on my buddies studs and they are 1.540 and only have hit on the exaust sheild and it has been ridin hard, jumping snowbanks etc. is anyone else running this length on there apex?
