Took My Vector in for some warranty items and they Claim to have called Yamaha and the front A-arm bushings are not covered.
Anyone else get this response?

I seriously doubt they would cover a wear item!

I just installed new A-arm bushings and washers as well. I was sure to ask at the counter. Not that the parts were expensive, but there are a few hours of labor there. Might as well use the YES if I have it.
They didn't bother to call in, but I ordered my parts and took care of it. Now if I had only not pushed one of the new bulkhead bushings out upon install it would not be sitting under my engine out of reach and I would have my Apex buttoned back up. Instead I am waiting for another!! AHH!
It's over 60 degrees out anyway. The longer it sits with the airbox and battery box out, the more I want to pull the A-arms and send them off to half baked!!

Get oilights.... Dont even bother with OEM.. they just plan suck. I have no clue why they would even bother with a small piece of plastic like they do...

Thanks for the reply's guys . The only reason I asked the question was because last year a friend of mine got them changed out on the YES program, And now they deemed them a wear item. I plan on putting the oilights from Ulmer in this summer

I only had one side that was sloppy, so I ordered just enough to tighten things up again. If I start seeing slop in both sides, I will order the Ulmer kit and do it right.

x 2 on the oilites! Everything just works better. They go in harder than the stock plastic bushings, but it's worth the time and money. Make sure you order the complete front end kit, not just the a-arm kit.
