I was trying my best to cobble together a professional looking engine tensioner for my RX-1 but I don't seem to have enough of the right kind of stuff lying around the shop to do it that way I would like.
I remember seeing a post where someone had made one some time ago but I'd really just rather buy one that bolts right up and looks classy. Does anyone know if any of the aftermarket vendors make one yet?
There's probably even the question of if the RX-1 really even needs an engine tensioner that needs to be answered.
Thoughts?

If you have any questions please feel free to msg me. I do not think anyone has made a kit yet. this set-up looks factory and is relitivly inexpensive.

Mikey,
I see in your picture where the engine tensioner connects to the engine but can you explain where the other end is connected? It is not apparent to me where or waht you connected it to. How well did this device work for you? Given the power of the RX-1 engine with only a few mods and the need to keep the clutches aligned, it seems to me this tensioning device is a "must-have". Thanks!
How many other people are using an engine tensioner??

For the front you have to remove the bumper bolt (the one that points directly down) and replace it with A longer one and a nut to hold the open heim end.The bolt head can be seen on the second photo on the tech pages its the one that the head is cut in half by the edge of the piture right at 9 oclock.
