I know this is a subjective question, however I am wondering if the XTX would be right for me. I am curently on an 07 800R Summit, I bought the summit after owning an attak. The attak was a nice sled however it was just too heavy to do the off trail riding that I enjoy doing. I know the XTX is lighter but still heavier than the summit that I own. Is this something to worry about or is the XTX better balanced than the Attak was. Thanks for any feedback.

From what i've researched, you can set the suspension up to your liking.
It is also a great idea to change your skis or carbides.. whatever you choose. Then you will feel like your on rails. If you like going off in deep powder its still right for you.

Also if you are really interested in the sled, try one out first if you can. I was hesitate as well, but when i tryed the sled out, i loved it and new it was for me!! Hope this helps..

Can't compare to a summit, but I will say this. Going from an Apex (shorty) to the Nytro (shorty) has been nothing but positive for me. The Nytro is better balanced and centralized, it feels 200 pounds lighter than my Apex. Ergos are better, a little colder to ride but the fun warms you up anyway. As for the motor, it seems the same if not better then the Apex, I'm not a top speed guy so the 100 mph is plenty.
