My Wife's SW X-TX LE has arrived and we have picked it up. Beautiful MACHINE!!!! Can I expect to it to be much faster than my '15 Viper RTX-LE with MPI turbo and Ulmer's clutch kit which hits a Brick wall at 90 MPH even after changing to 24/50 gearing? Never been very happy with my Viper topping out around 90 MPH with the mods that are done, just hope the SW is better.

2019 sidewinder xtx le, sleeping for now
Check your clutches, you must not be getting full shift out, otherwise something is wrong.

You will see over 120 in the right conditions with the Sidewinder.
Yup the viper is binding secondary there are guys running 108 on N/A motors let alone 190hp turbo back when I was just stage 1 mpi on 14 xtx stock gears I was 106 mph

You should be running into the 115 plus range or minus with stock gearing and the mpi turbo on the viper. I was seeing those speeds pretty consistently with my mpi viper. First thing I would check is getting full shift with the black sharpie marker line on the primary and verify your getting the belt all the way to the top.
I am also getting the XTX sidewinder, and keep in mind it's only geared for about 105, while the ltx's are geared for 120 or so. My hopes with the extra track and the XTX skid is this thing is going to be a rocketship to 100!

Didn't realize the XTX was geared for 105. Wish I new the LTX was geared so different, may have made my decision a little different. We do alot of lake running. You should be running into the 115 plus range or minus with stock gearing and the mpi turbo on the viper. I was seeing those speeds pretty consistently with my mpi viper. Is there a whole lot of difference hitting an ice heave at 105 versus 120?

I guess not, but we'll have to wait and see if 105 is even achievable yet. My '15 MPI viper can definitely not but every tells me it should. The only true 100 MPH MPH sleds I've had so far is my '98 SRX , '06 Apex GT, '12 Apex SEIs there a whole lot of difference hitting an ice heave at 105 versus 120?

My wife took my 2012 Apex to 105. She's nuts and tiny. That's why I like her! I think I saw 100 once with it.
