Dropped sled off at the dealers to have the turbo put on. Going with the original mpi kit with the innercooler. I have aem wide band gauges with the digital readout. Both afr and boost. Hoping to get a good stroke of business done on it sometime this coming week and I'll be down most likely for the majority just to see what it's all about and get familiar with it. Anything I specific I should look for or keep an eye on once it's all apart?

Check the pinned at the top gives you a good start where to look.I just went through mine and discovered a few other things that are not listed there . 1 the coolant filler mount bolts were striped at the factory now the mount has badly distorted holes
2 rad fan is to close to the body has worn a 1/8 inch in to fan motor and body
3 positive battery cable wearing through on battery mount at gas tank
4 belt guard wearing in to gas tank
5 headlight has developed moisture

just a few things i noticed that you may want to keep an eye on

I forgot to mention the brake hose where it goes through the body by the bars has worn through the outer coating.I think mine will be spending some time at the dealer since it only has 1000 miles on it.

HOLY crap who put yours together? Dig out your Yamaha form the dealer gives you when your sled is ready and show him what they missed. I have two Vipers and NONE of the things you listed.

I will give you a run down on what has gone on with this sled im ready to dump it as the dealer is just ignoring my complaint
first ride motor was over filled with oil by 1 litre track. was way over tight. low on coolant
2nd ride hot start issue began and has continued to the point i have to pull the battery cables to reboot the ecu some times
3rd ride bars folded over as they forgot to tighten them .brake rotor guard fell off .hood started to rattle noticed missing screws.dash cluster and head light filled with moisture
now on complete inspection
oil tank leaking at seam. Coolant filler bolt striped mount damaged.Rad fan rubbing on body.Battery cables rubbing. Oil lines under tank rubbing.Oil line by exhaust rubbing on exhaust guard.Belt cover rubbing.Brake hose rubbing.blew 2 dash fuses

Most of that is dealer, I strongly suggest contacting the Yamah rep for your area. Call another dealer to get the reps info if you have too, its been my experience Yamaha will make this right for you.

Photos posted online could get the publicity necessary to have the issues addressed...

At any rate, detailed documentation is well worth the effort.

thank s for the info that is the track im on to deal with this like the sled don.t like the issues
