All right so my 04 warrior has over 11k on it and i replaced the jackshaft bearing behind the secondary at around 9k as preventative maintance. I was out enjoying an awsome ride (before all the rain!!) when that same bearing failed. Now my question is how do I get the outer race out of the housing? I got the locking collar and other bits out but that race is in there pretty good. I would like to get it out without taking the chaincase apart and the shaft out. Any suggestions would be great.

I dont understand why they don't have a grease zerk on this bearing.

Thanks

If you have a heat gun or small propane torch apply a lil heat to the outer aluminum housing and you should be able to pull the race out I used a bolt and a really big socket that fit inside th housing and against the edge of the race like A slide hammer to remove the race.

Thanks for the help. I ended up putting some heat to it and using a makeshift puller to get it out. Wasn't easy though, the race was cracked in half and made the job a real pain. It's out now so I will put it back to together tomorrow.

Thanks
