I seem to have too much freeplay in my jackshaft. I measured it at the outside circumference of the secondary. I was 2 inches. Could that be normal? I adjusted the chain tension finger tight.

Carston, Is this movement side to side or out and in on the shaft? If its side to side and you have reverse, thats normal. If you dont have reverse then theres a problem...BBY

It is side to side, meaning the amount of turn. I do have reverse. Thanks for reassuring me. When I let up, then accelerate I can hear the clunk of the free play. I didn't pay that much attention till I switched sleds with a Mach rider, and he told me my chain was loose.
