I am looking for some tips on jetting my 2005 Yamaha Banshee for the winter. I have done everything that the book tells me but I am having problems getting my quad to run right. It is giving me the most problems at low speeds, it surges and sometimes backfires.
You need to state if you have any mods as they can change things a lot. You might also check out http// www.atving.com and read their banshee jetting pages. There is a lot of info there. Another good place is www.bansheehq.com
Have you done a plug reading yet? If not I would try that first. You are lean on the pilot, go up one size at a time. Turn your air screw back to 1 1/2 turns out. That will give you a baseline.
