Bought a MCX kit. First test run yesterday. HOLY SMOKE! I have a manual boost switch and in "family" position it´s fast (0,35 bar approx 190hp..?) and in "lunitic" position it´s hysterical! The future isn´t just 4-stroke, it´s also overloaded. Only one problem yet, it´s over reving and hit the rev limiter. I´ve a softer spring (yellow-white-yellow) and 86(!) grams weights and it still hits the limiter on high boost (0,7 bar=10psi(?)). Shall call MCX on monday for advise but maybe some of you have a proposal for clutch calibration.

Yellow-white - yellow is not softer. It is 45/128 vs yel-sil-yel at 35/118. You could go to a softer spring and a higher number helix. Are you running a boost gauge? With that much weight you shouldn't be hitting the limiter. What weights are you using and what helix?

Looked once more at the spring and the middle marking is probably not white, it´s silver. Compared it to the standard spring (orange-silver-orange) and the pitch is the same but the thread diameter is thinner so it should be softer. By the way, it´s a Mtn -03. Due to that all stores are closed during the weekend I´ve did some back yard tricks with the primary. I´ve first tried the standard weights with two steel rivets (78 grams totally), when that didn´t do it I welded the weights up to 86 grams. Did also put 3 washers on each M6-bolt to space it out. It was better but still hit the limiter sometimes after a few seconds but only on high boost (have a boost gauge). I´ve also noticed that I have a darker area on the primary disks (?) (dust from belt) and it doesn´t cover all up. Approx 5 mm on the top is still clean. Could it mean that the primary doesn´t gear out properly...? And in that case, why? It only has 400 miles and the bushings should be OK... I use standard settings on the secondary.
