Hey guys,

Now that some of you have clicked on some miles on the new 06s I'm wondering if anyone has jumped their Attak or Apex a few times??

I'm no sno-x racer but I do enjoy finding a good gravel pit with some nice kickers and I'm wondering how the new Yamahas handle that type of riding??

Thanks for any feedback guys.

I only have 300 miles on mine, still dialing in everything..........BUT..

Riding Double on this Baby...........IS SWEET

Jumped it over a Road Crossing [drive way] Launched it Pretty Good HAD IT UP THERE A WAYS..........Landing was SWEET. Even My Other Half DIDN't SCREAM 2 MUCH :D

She was very IMPRESSED on how SMOOTH it rides over the ROUGH stuff, seems the faster U go the SMOOTHER it GETS. And Yesterday the Trails were Pretty ROUGH......BUT My ATTAK Seemed To Eat Up The WHOOP D DOO's ;)!

We dont have enough snow for some real jumps yet. I did test it out on some small ones to see how it would be in the air. So far it seemed to be great! I was thinking that the front end might want to dive on me but it was nice and level each time.

it flys straight but if your launch is crossed up it takes more to correct mid flight.but its not made for that either.does go nice over high speed power line crests.

ive thrashed the crap out of my sled..

2-5 foot jumps no problem.. bottoms hard , but what sled wouldnt at that hight..

ive gone over some rought spots and it rides like a dream..

I have a motocross track behind my house and the Attak did fine over 5 to 6' foot jumps...
What Rich says is true but I believe its true for most sleds....

Goint over jumps hit the throttle and the front lands nice and even....drf

haha yeah the rtx cant be compared to my old sxr or brothers viper :bling

I just hope i dont have to worry about bottoming out:S im only about 190 with geat im guessing.

My Attak bottoms all the time both front and rear. 5ft jumps, moguls, 1ft dips. Still at factory settings and I ride hard, but I'm very disappointed. Twisted the left a-arms on a slightly squirrelly landing. Not even bad enough to throw me, but bad enough to bend those whimpy tubes. Looking for aftermarket A-arms. Anyone got a line. Love that motor! Just need to find a sled to put it in.

Yes, I would have to agree with Rich. We were jumping our Attaks, and I got a little sideways on a big jump, and ended up busting off the reverse lever with my knee. Does handle the jumps pretty well tho.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm still hoping that the new sled they are hinting about in the Redline is a ditchbanger.

What I'd like to see is a Rev style chassis with an EFI version of the 3 holer with closer to 130 HP and under 500lbs dry. Maybe I'm asking too much but I can dream can't I?

Happy ridin boys! ;)!

5ft jumps? Yeah.......If you're going to be riding your sled that hard......you WILL need to stiffen the suspension from the factory setting.

This will help........greatly. Then you won't bust all your SH!T up. ;)!
