- 2016 RS Vector XTX 1.25 Lug wifes..2013 RS Vector LTX.. 2003 600 VMax Past Machines 3-2007 Attaks 1-2010 Vector LTX.. sorry no Stinkdoos or poo's cats.
A lot of you swear by Optimate maintainers so I bought two (one for each Vector LTX And XTX) after somehow my two year old Yusa batteries crapped out somehow over the summer which hasn't happened to me since 2007 when I bought my first Apex's.
I'll leave them on 24/7 after the season according to their website and others? I bought two new Yusa Z series being Yusa said they were built better. I don't want to take a chance the other two are still worth saving. We ride alone during the week and never see anyone all day at times. So why chance that the batteries were any good after being stone dead for how long? who knows. I thought I took care as in the past but this year has been different hasn't it.

batteries that do that usually end up in a sled or atv with a back up pull start as the e start is nice but i can still get the sled started.

Optimate has kept my original batteries in my 13 Nytro and 14 Viper in perfect condition...but i did buy a portable jump start batter this year given how old they are, just in case.

The portable jump start batteries offer a peace of mind to be sure. I had one that was about the size of my I-Phone, but I lost it when I jumpstarted a 4-wheeler out in the middle of nowhere. I have two different ones now; both are somewhat larger, but either one will start a sled, or a truck! I picked up a "no name" brand one at an auto parts store for @$60, and it works great.

I bought a battery boost unit and it paid off last winter. I pulled up to get gas, shut it off, filled up and the battery was toast when I went to start it.
As mentioned they are so small now they pack easy.
