Well just got back from riding in Laramie wyoming.. We stayed in Centenial WY.

Drove 14hrs each way to ride 3 days (360 miles) (over 1800 in the truck)

Very cool stuff up on those mountains.. Took a few pictures for yas..

The snow was very firm and hard pack.. so trails were just like riding in the U.P. They got 16+ inches on thursday and we almost got stuck up in those mountains.. (very dangerous)

Finally got to try out those new Pilot skis.. They are alot better than the stock skis but i still noticed some small amounts of darting still.. (my conclusion is that they dont CURE the darting but do eliminate most of it) I was only using 4 inch carbides and the sled had minimal push and handled great (6inchers would be better)

I did get my sled stuck a few times.. (boy these sleds are heavy when stuck) LOL... that was to be expected..

My sled ran great and i really didnt noticed the power loss at all untill 80+mph where it excellerated very slowly to a top speed of about 90mph.

Hopefully we get some snow around here so i dont have to drive another 1900 miles for my next trip.. (no riding is really worth the extremelly long drive)

My buddy had a new CROSSFIRE 700 which is AWSOME in the powder.. Easilly crawling threw the deap snow in the off trailling with its 136 and ripsaw track.. (and he didnt even have powder skis on it) and it is sharp too..

Check out the pics..

Also forgot to mention..

A big thanks to ALLEN ULMER for the perfect clutching setup and a Big thanks to RIDESRX for letting us borrow his 3 place trailer..

So did you get to ride in the fresh Pow Friday? I was in Colorado last weekend, and headed back to the snowies next weekend. Who knows, maybe I will get 12 trips in this year. You do get use to the drive :) Eric

It snowed 16+ inches during the afternoon on Thursday..

it was done snowing on Friday.. but it was snowing at the Wyoming/Nebraska border and half way threw Nebraska

rained the rest of the way into Iowa..

I forgot to mention that my 2007 handwarmers worked AWSOME.. they dont get flaming hot.. but 1000 times better than they were before.. (i could actually feel the heat all the way to the ends.)

here is some more pictures

Its funny that I know exactly where everyone of thos pictures were taking. lol Well, everyone except the one of your stuck sled. That could be anywhere.

So do you think you would go back again? Eric
