ok so as of now i'm riding a 03 RX1 and i really like it most of the time , but on sunday i did 102 mi and the trails sucked . at about the 60 mi mark i met 2 guys riding phazers and they looked so nice they just flew over the bumps and jumped every bank and i started wanting 1 so bad. BUT i also love speed so i wanted to no what speed r u getting? most of the trails i ride you can only hit 30-60 on a good day do how fast can you get to top speed? and how are the Turbos/Supercharger phazers holding up???
I havent had a problem keeping up to anyone in that speed zone! At about sixty the big sleds are definantely going to start pulling away! But, what a fun little sleds especially when the going get rough. I believe the ruffer the better. Good luck in your decesion. Check out the end of the year prices, you might want both!
I have a FX and the worse the trails get the better I like it for the reasons you describe. BUT it only went about 80 mph(indicated) on the same trails and lakes where my Apex riding friends were going half again as fast. That got real old in a real hurry.MR.SINISTER said:

I did a drag strip run on the river (icy) with a radar gun. 92 mph on the speedo and 84.8 on the radar gun. thats a fx, with 96 studs, and I can do that all day. but like they said, the bumpier the trail, the better the ride.

Turbo Phazer w/ Ohlins suspension sounds like the ultimate sled to me.
