Katahdin Tank Bag on Vector

Is anyone using a Katahdin Tank bag on a newer Vector? The only mounting points seem to be through the plastic cowling. How did it work out? I'm scared to sh&t to drill a hole, only to find out it's in the wrong place. . .

I dont know but i would call them and ask before making any holes Yamaha sells one for $85 retail
