A few weeks ago Lakercr put up a post offering a vented access cover for free for a couple of the mountain guys to try out. I got in touch with him and asked him to ship me one of the Apex hood scoops as well. He offered to do this and not charge shipping since he was already sending the access cover. We made our deal and there ended up being a couple of hickups in getting it shipped. This is where the stand up guy part really shines. Jim sent me a note to apologize for the delay and then refunded a big chunk of the original purchase price via my paypal account. This was all unsolicited. I have never had an experience like this in my life. I can really appreciate some one that actually cares about his customers. Your the man Jim. I'm sure we'll do business again.

Thanks Keith, I appreciate that. The 'hiccup' is that Customs has been slower this year than I've ever seen them in the past. We have a Snow-x team that races most week-ends in the US, so this year we've started taking our orders across the border ourselves, and then shipping them from the US side. This has been working our very well so far. Unfortunately for Keith's (and a couple of others orders) the first Park -X race wasn't a points race, so we decided not to go, ultimately impacting delivery dates. We raced again this past week-end at Park-X and took the orders with us. I believe everyone that was expecting product from us has it now, as I've spoken with most of you by phone.

Hey, Jim looked after me too, I don't know where he finds the time, his brother Bob is in there like a dirty shirt too, so he should probably get some of the credit too. Anyway, the two of them have helped me out a lot with set up and installing and supplying parts etc. 1 ataboy is worth 10 aw shits!!!!!! Here's a few ataboys boys!!!!!

Agreed, very helpful with me as well. PS Love the louvered inspection plate and plastic dash piece for my Apex!
Thanks guys, I appreciate the compliments and feedback. To be fair, this time last year the comments could just as easily have read the other way (Matt Habada and Dave at Powderlites immediately come to mind). Anyway, I think we're good with them now (at least I hope so), we're a relatively new company and managing our growth the best we can. BPE is very comitted to getting quality products and service to you in a timely fashion, and at a fair price. I spoke with Tom about this at Haydays, and comitted that as a sponsor to the site, BPE would work hard to give our customers an experience that is consistent with what they realize from the member community in general here at TY. It is encouraging to see that we are heading in the right direction.
Thanks again everyone, we're having a great year, and look forward to working with you through the season.

It is being done right now. My media person has a bunch of stuff for me to look at/approve, but I haven't had time to sit down with her in the past few weeks. Until the site is up, please post or PM me with any questions on our products/services and we'll follow up with you directly.
