Need some suggestions at idle it loads up,I have replaced the needle and seat, cleaned and blew out all passages, pulled the choke plunger looks okay, reset air screw a dozen different ways, kept lowering the float level to almost nothing,no change, yet if I shut the fuel off the idle improves suggesting that the float level is to high, took it apart again pulled the needle out of the seat checked for dirt or something holding it up no all looked good.Iam baffled any help would be greatly welcomed and if anyone has the O.E.M float hieght and factory air screw settings that would be great info since I have changed them so many times that Iam way out to lunch on the base setting.Ice

you are shure the needle is closing properly on the seat?

does the float still float?

got to be one of these.

Hey thanks for the comeback Maim, yea got to agree the float is good ,I took the needle out of the seat the second time and even under a magnifying glass both the needle and seat look good.I changed it out to begin with because of loading during idle.I spoke with the dealer I bought the needle and seat off of and no returns so if I want to try this all over again its another fifty eight bucks. Its a little frustrating to say the least these things are viton tipped and they tend to get hard and not work, whos to say how long that quote new one has been sitting around.Guess I will have to bite the bullet again.

just test it with the float bowl off by blowing into the gas line and hold the float up in the closed position on the needle. had to do a kawi this way this fall because the fool left his bike empty since last fall. the floats do not float in water.
