I removed the snorkel and cut 4 holes 1" wide on the bottom half of the box. and modified the upper filter cover. went with red springs and 137.5 or 140 ill have to check and it woke it up alot.

Never had a single issue with snow ingestion in the 4 years I've owned it, the two ducts go to the bottom of the air box right above the ECU where the rubber snorkel protrudes. As well I am using the stock filter.

No worries,I have no pics of the bottom of the Airbox sorry, but the Airbox itself is completely stock.Because the tubes are grooved the airflow is slowed comparing to smooth ones, still flows quite a bit when you put a hair dryer at the front and your hand at the other end.

Pulls excellent throughout the rev range more than enough to walk my buds 07 Apex bottom to top.

Sweet advice guys, i think im going to mod the stock air box and springs, jets, combo also. This seems the safest rout to go, filters seem unreliable in certain conditions ie. snowdust and powder
