Now that I have installed LED light bars on my car and snowblower I'm looking at installing a 18 or 36 watt light on my Phazer. I have the Skinz front bumper and may just bolt it to the tubing. I already have a relay that powers my heated visor so I will just tap into that with a switch on the handlebar or riser.
I don't do a lot of night riding but when I do the extra light will be nice to have.
Anyone else install a LED light on their Phazer? If so can you post pics. Looking for mount ideas.

IMO, HID kit-
lights up whatever is in front of you. Plug & play, no hassles/ easy to install.
Lots on the market, set up similar to this:

I have a pair of 18 watt floods on mine mounted to a modified stock front bumper, I had to make new mounting brackets after the first years since the originals on the cheap Chinese leds cracked. GREAT for boondocking/woods riding at night as they really fill in the areas the stock headlights miss. I have mine running off the 3amp auxiliary fuse with a toggle switch in the rubber plug above the gas tank.

Here's mine Cubby. Used entire season and they were absolutely well worth the buy!!
Where I installed and with without on.
Only regret is not installing switch on handlebars. I have it beside my fuel cap which is hard to navigate on bumpy trails and sudden incoming traffic. Other than that I love them.
They are Cree, BRP LEDS that I got for a bottle so made them work.
And FYI, the pics don't due the brightness and the length of the beam justice.

I would prefer to mount the light to the handlebar but I worry about glare from the windshield.
Or I will mount it to the front bumper.
Definitely put the switch on the handlebar. Looking at this one: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01HO4CNPY...lid=3F5ERMRXA5Y4W&coliid=I2FRFP375ZLKBX&psc=1

I picked in front of windshield for the glare and or the frost build up. I thought of bumper to keep lower, but if they get packed with snow or ice I can't reach them to quickly swipe off while moving. Don't matter where, your going to see a huge difference.

Just thought of something. If your ever in the deep stuff at night or evening when you countersteer to carve your light, if mounted to bars, will be shinning in the opposite direction. Just a though.

I really like having the light mounted behind the windshield on the bars. Barely any light is reflected because the light is almost touching my windshield. Also it's really nice when going between trees because where you turn, you can now see haha the light is also protected much better so hopefully water won't get into it.
