Look under your sled towards the front of the track. You will see a rubber strap that has 2 bolts (w/nuts) on the bottom and 2 bolts at the top. That is your limiter strap. The strap has an adjustment area that is located on the top. When the strap wraps around the metal bar and lays back on top of itself there are 4? sets of holes for adjusting the tension.
If you tighten the tension of the strap it pulls up on the front of the track and adds weight to the front of the sled (skis). Also I beleive that when the tension is tighter you will have slightly less traction in the rear due to less track on the snow or ice. I've heard others say that when the strap is tighter that it can lead to heavy steering due to the extra weight being put on the skis. The more tension you apply from the stock setting depends on how many holes you take up in the adjustment strap. Most people take up one hole (tighten) on the Attak and seem to think that is the sweet spot. Some seem to think that taking up 2 holes is even better.
It's all personal preference and I prefered to tighten up 1 hole on my Attak but not to say it's better because I haven't tried the 2nd hole yet. Hope this helps. Now go out and give it a try.
