Yup, I had same problem on my 07 Attak ,with 13mm bar, pulled strap up 2 holes from stock to increase ski pressure, big difference, but I ride mostly loose snow conditions and this had an adverse affect in that condition, between this and spring pressure you have to experiment for your conditions.

'07 Apex GT.....I run Slydog skis with 4 inches of the stock 90 degree carbide. Ski spring preload is set to A-arms level, limiter strap is stock, never touched it. No darting, no pushing, even in loose snow.

Pulled mine up one from stock, dialed out most of the transfer on the rod, lowered the front shocks/loosened the springs all of the way setting a-arms to almost level, bergstrom triple points on stock ski's. I just did this stuff for this season, much happier with how it handles now. Next will be the sway bar but the above tweaks really minimized the ski lift and push for me. Not 100% for all conditions but way better from last year for me.

I did lower my front end so the a-arms are almost horizontle Im just affraid of screwing something up.It steers good off throttle and while braking just pushes bad under even the slightest acceleration

Reduce your transfer rod more to the minimum setting. Mine pushed as well until I did this. I now run trails, I.E saddle bagging or long day trips, with mine set 2 lines towards minimum from the center line. When off trail I run it 2 lines towards maximum from the center line. Seems to make a BIG difference. Thanks to MrSled for this setup tip

Have you messed with your transfer rod at all? I adjusted most of the transfer out of mine. I've tried the transfer rod in the middle and it was so so. I tried it with more transfer and the ski lift was bad under if I gave it any gas in a corner. Now that I took most of the transfer out I can gas it more in the corners and slide the back around, which I like a lot. Mine is an 07 Attak as well. I find that I have to square off 90 degree corners more and stay really be smooth with the throttle in those corners. I can brake into a sweeper and accelerate hard through it with minimal push and ski lift. Also I think, personally, that since adjusting the transfer out my skid works better on the stutter bumps and such that I encounter on most of the trails here in the Appleton/Green Bay area.
