Greetings!

I thought I share some information that those with Vipers may find very interesting. Today as I was drinking down my first cup of Coffee this morning I thought I check to see what the Value of my 2015 Yamaha SR Viper LTX DX is. First , full disclosure , I did purchase my sled as a Demo sled at the time, and it did come with 500 miles on it, but the dealer did throw in some really nice Extras with it : LINQ ADAPTER Bracket , EPA Can , Viper Console Knee Pads, Black Windshield, Tunnel Flares, and Racewerx QK Adj Coupler ... 7,999 was the Price... Purchase Date Fall of 2016
-----------------

Avg resell per Kelly Blue price as of today : 7390!!! And that did not include the extras listed above or the light weight Liutheum Battery I installed or the Upgraded Power Hound 7 in Ski's!!

What does this tell me personally and would think it would tell at least some of you as well... 1) Artic Cat relationship was successful in maintaining resale value of Yamaha Sleds 2) The Spring Order only event , from last year was VERY Successful in reducing Inventory and increasing Value of Yamaha Sleds... I am basing my conclusion on real life data , I have the evidence to prove it ... Also, you can see , if you look at Snowmobile Trader site , there is a view you can do, that will show you overall inventory per sled manufacture available for sale... Yamaha has a fraction of the sleds the other major players do, and that was NOT the case a few years ago... Related, There is not 1 , 2015 Yamaha SR Viper LTX DX for sales on the site currently by dealer or private... and that was not the case a couple of years ago either... So, anyway, I hope this makes all you SR Viper Owners Feel good about your Purchases , and value of your sleds.. :) I know I have no doubts , and I am feeling really good this morning about my purchase. :)

Best Regards

Charlie

Wait till it’s 5 years old and 10-15000mi on it. Then compare! Bet at least 3-5000 and others under $1000. And not running!

My 2015 Viper LTX-DX with almost 7,000 miles on it was totaled last year. The insurance company's first offer was $7,500. I was thinking less, so I didn't even haggle with them.

Where I am theyre worthless, all Yamaha snowmobiles are.Im not being that guy, just being honest. Its very disappointing and discouraging when thinking about my next purchase. That said,I love my Viper.

Thats all that matters! I wouldnt buy a Yamaha just to sell it. My 07 Phazer is on its third family member.

Yeah,I still have my Nytro and plan on keeping the Viper too for the rest of the family when I spring order my 2021 Mountain Max.

Had a 2015 Viper Ltx Le 14,000 miles sold for $3400 18 months ago but 1 year of warranty left. Hopefully after the this season will have 12,000 miles on my 2017 Viper Ltx Le but will have 3 years of warranty wonder how much it will be worth just might keep and see what comes out.

Holy cow that mi or kilometers? Where is your location?

Those are miles live in Illinois have a house in Woodruff Wisconsin. First winter with the house so maybe get a few more miles this year.

Wow that’s impressive! Got me beat. All those miles and your worried what it’s worth? I don’t get it.

Just a guess but 17 is probably worth about same because of engine. Most don’t know the difference though so maybe more.

I just like to see how much money I have to come up with if Yamaha comes out with a new sled. But might ride this 4 years and have as a second sled since its easy to have friends come up now

Your post should be a reminder to us all that there are a lot of Yamacats running around with mileage in five digits. All too often it seems that there are posts on this website disparaging the quality of the ProCross chassis, and the Arctic Cat/Yamaha partnership that has given us the Vipers and Sidewinders. I have bought two used Yamacats for family members, and both now have well over 10,000 miles under their skis. My "kids" love their sleds, and I still trust the sleds to bring them home from trips deep in the woods. After all the faults that people find with the Yamacats, maybe they should consider the fact that with their Yamaha DNA, they are dependable, long-lasting sleds.
