I had a 2000 600 Grizzly and there is this one steep dirt incline that I could made up in low speed but always had a problem, well I did a test on my 05 Grizzly to see how it matched up at the same steep dirt incline and at first I had it in 4X4 and it was about the same as my 2000 Grizzly then I used the locking differential and WOW!!!!!! it walked right up the incline with NO wheel spin whatsoever....Needless to say I was impressed....
4 hr.s on the motor so far....16 more to go....drf

wow, must be some incline
Wow, that must be some incline if you have to have the diff locked to get up it easily, or must be some slick snotty stuff.
I was riding in the ditch the other day, in some tall grass, going slow, the area was new to me. Holy wet ditches batman, there was a lot of water in that ditch, but the Grizz sailed right through in 4 wheel, didn't have time to lock the diff.
Lots of fun!

I try to use the diff-lock as a last resort, or if the hole I am trying to go through looks super bad.
