Can anyone point me to a location which explains the functions of the rear suspension components on a sled (limiter straps, the multiple shocks, torsion spring). I'm trying to develop an understanding of how each component affects handling, so that I can start dialing my 09 XTX in. Thanks.

SJ has a really good thread on this. Just look on the second page...it says XTX suspension settings. The tighter your limiter straps the more ski pressure. The more preload on the center rear shock the less ski pressure. Torsion springs help your rear shock rebound. The rear transfer rods adjust weight transfer. Anyways read SJ's thread and that will give you a great understanding how to dial your XTX in.
