Does any one know were I can get a deal on reverse kit for a 2003 rx1 . I talked to th local dealer and they are looking at 600. I just bought the sled used and its my first Yamha. I havent had a chance to put only 200 miles on it but am thinking a need the reverse.

Post it up in the classifieds as wanted. If you wait long enough you may find someone parting out.... I know I would never be without it on any machine again....especially an RX1

If the $600.00 from the dealer is an installed price, that's not bad. It adds to the resale price of the sled and if you get that big old 4 stroke stuck just once, $600 will sound cheap!

Reverse is USELESS if you get stuck. It will cause the sled to dig in MUCH WORSE.

LB, I don't necessarily mean stuck, as in deep snow, I mean like up against a tree and you can't lift the damn thing up away from it. Geez, don't be so negative all the time :~)
