Hey all, I had a horrid year this year and only put 80 miles on my warrior. I'd like to pull the sleds somewhere for a day of riding this weekend, but hate riding where i don't know the trails/conditions.

If anyone withing 3 hrs or so of Albany NY would like to meet up Sunday for a day of riding, please let me know, I'd be highly interested.

Hey there,

Northern VT is still great conditions. We have lots of snow left, although this week might hurt it some. If you get anywhere above mid state, theres plenty. C'mon up and have some fun. Our trails are well marked, and if there are bad conditions ahead, they will be posted and detoured. I will be riding this weekend, but I am abour 5 hours away from Albany, and I will be headed North even more.

You New Yawkers NY kill me. As soon as you're 5 minutes north of the city.....say in White Plains, you think you're in upstate NY. Now, since NY & VT border each other, and both states border Canada, why is southern Vermont = to upstate New York? To me, Plattsburg would be considered upstate, whereas Albany is in central NY.

A serious issue such as this needs more discussion. ;)!

Thank you mark 0 for finally saying something about all these people who think albany is upstate...i live in a little town called mooers about 30 minutes from the burgh and about 2 miles from canada.. that my friend is upstate NY

It's not all New Yawkers, mosltly ones who live in & near the city. You know, all the ones who voted for Hitlary. :?

Technically isn't anything north of the jersey border upstate? and while you may be further upstate from NYC than Albany is, Albany is still upstate. Actually, Upstate NY is considered north of Westchester county.

Since I am on the same longitudinal line as bennington and brattleboro, and about 2.5 hours away from the latter, which I would fully consider southern VT (unless you'd like to call it northern MA, since there are far more people than cattle in those towns, thus disqualifying it from being part of VT), I'd say that southern VT and upstate NY would qualify as locations I'd be interested in meeting up with a fellow snowmobiler.

Now, if my geographic location and political views (which would definately not be in favor of Hillary, but i lived in NH at the time) aren't in question anymore, if any sled heads in a 3hr radius of Albany would be interested in meeting a friend and I for some riding, to show us their beautiful back yard, and not their full moons, i'd greatly appreciate it.

If anything north of the New Jersey border is called "upstate", then I can see whay you refer to Albany as being up-upstate. Using that logic, Lake Placid surely must be up-up-upstate. But what about Plattsburg, is that called up-up-up-upstate, waaaay-up-state, or Canada?

BTW, Vermont, known as the Green State, is actually a separate socialist country.
