Seriously looking to trade or sell 2004 F7 nightfire snopro to get an 07 Attack GT. Any input on the GT would be helpful. Tired of the 2 stroke smell and rough ride of the snopro. Guess Im getting older.

leaving ac

i was a real cat die hard, bought 98 srx had the normal crank problems
went to haucks they fixed problem, since then i've enjoyed having
yamaha, i have 07 attak it's the best sled i've owned, i've been riding
for 38 yrs, remember they all can have trouble.

I don't mean to bash or nothing.I had a 04 firecat and you know of all the reecalls and problems a guy can get fustrated.Since than I have had 2 4strokes and I wouldn't go back to a cat.You won't be dissapointed.Yamaha has demo rides usually the end of febuary through march in different locations that way you could try them out.

welcome,

i think you will love the yammi power plant for sure.

its so smooth and pulls so hard all the time... its like driving a bigblock car.

i love my RTX the new skid is great.

i would like to ride a F7 just to see what they are about..

but i love my yammi, and would never own a 2 stroker again.. just for the $$$ of oil alone!

cheers

I know what you mean. Although I was lucky never had a problem with the F7, I did all the updates nice sled. But its time to go 4 srtoke. I rode in Canada last week with a guy who rode a new F5. Personally I was not impressed with the new cats. Fit and finish was poor. Seemed to ride nice but. I was riding behind this guy for about 20 miles. I noticed that he would keep leaning over the right side of his sled like he was having a problem. Later on we asked and he said he kept losing the side vent. It was falling off every now and then. Finally it fell of and and lost it on the trail. We eventually found it but it was chewed up (lots of stud marks).
I have been a diehard cat guys for a while. Yes they all have their problems but it time to go 4 stroke
But anyway that just turned me off all together. The other thing was that he had lost it before and Cat wouldnt even cover under warranty. Sled had 450 miles

The Attak GT is without a doubt the best sled I have ever had. It is such a well-rounded package for the coin, that it sets itself a world apart from the nearest brand "X" offering. It's so smooth & powerful running that it's like having a [insert your favorite exotic car here] for a snowmobile.

I ride with a buddy that has an F7, and he would reather ride my GT anyday. We switch sleds alot when riding (I'm trying to bring more Yammy's into the area) and he just loves it. From riding his F7, I think you will notice a little bit of the weight difference, but the power and handling of teh Apex will impress you for sure. When I ride his F7, I just feel like I am riding a tiny sled without much under me. Granted, I think it's easier to throw his around in the real rough stuff, but he's definately doesn't gain any ground on me, even in the rough ditches.
His, however gives way too much feedback through the handlebars, wheras my sled will be a much better ride quality,IMO.
DO IT, YOU"LL LOVE IT!!!!
(you'll get lots of attention on the trail, too)
