DO you guys have any idea on why I would get a lot of backfires...
I just started her without intercooler ann when I give it some throttle quickly, it will randomly shoot huge flame through one or two throttle bodies..... not always the same....

Did you gap your plugs? I know that when supercharging a car, you have to narrow the spark plug gap.

Yes I gapped them down.... .022 instead of -0.028
Can it be because it goes extremely rich whenever I touch the throttle?
Like 13.0-1 at idle, and 10.9-1 if I touch the throttle

Why would you need to narrow the gap?

ditch the crappy fuel contoller. even the bd guys are messing with daves controller. usually backfire through the intake track means lean condition. where are your co settings . you can move them around to richen up the low end side. that should help determine if its lean going from positive vaccum to o then to boost.

No wideband shows anything from extremely rich to extremely lean spikes all over the place...
It just seems to be unable to control fueling at all... that is just too weird...

I will try to re-open my gap to stock just to see what happens...
AND I am not even thinking about going past 1/3rd the throttle right now... it just runs way too crappy to even think about that.

Sounds like you should have got someone to install your system who KNOWS what he's doing!

Maybe we never know... but I've done much more involved installs into my gm performance cars and never had that much trouble getting the thing to run....
Even my bender turbo system, Ive not got that efi trouble...
Its not the first efi motor I tune, and I struggled so much getting one to run....

I am suspecting I've done too much on the engine at this point....
Maybe -2 deg timing with 9-1 compression and intake cam retard + plug down gap was too much...
I will at least re-gap plugs to see what happen...

Closing the spark plug gap advances the ignition timing.
