Nice pic! Yea after trying to put the bag in I realized those holes are covered I really don't see the point in them. Not like they are going to remove heat stuffed up under the front. But yes it's good they aren't exposed. I had to stick with the old style bag because there was not enough room for the wiring of my led's up in there with the new style bag. How did you get the bag in there? I'm guessing you need to take the hood off?

So for those who got them - what do you think? How hot does it get - will there be a problem with certain things melting? What about extra heat now in the engine bay - without the bag in there is tons of heat exiting there - any concern with where all that heat is now going?

To be honest I didn't think the area was as hot as it was w/the viper. *Using the viper bag* Though there is not really any difference between the 2 bags other then the shape and how they connect. I remember my viper being hotter in that area. Unless I'm crazy I don't see any issue. Sled temp was always 168 - 174 unless stopped then the temp's rise fast.
Any cdn customers have revived it ? Me nothing yet....

You must take the hood off. It slides/clips into some retainers underneath the opening. Should be flush with opening when installed properly.Wakebrder, did the bag clip in? Slide in same way as grid that you removed?
Looked at mine today and could not make it work without directions. It did not want to clip in.
Looks like 1/4 of the bag fits under the dash up front

Yes my hood was off, still could not figure it out because after looking at your pic a good portion of it fits under dash. I was trying wrong orientation!! Shall try again next time I bring it in my garage for pre ride checks!'You must take the hood off. It slides/clips into some retainers underneath the opening. Just confirmed that all Cdn customers who early ordered the LE models are also getting goggle bags - they will be a bit later than our US friends but expect them in next few wks. That wasnt the original plan but Yamaha Canada concluded it was the right thing to do - THANKS YAMAHA!
Says who?

I asked my dealer about this also and he gave me the deer in the headlights look.

Ya, I never heard or seen that the goggle bag was included!
Not counting on it unless others in Canada get it!
