Can't get Amsoil 0-40 anymore Crappy tire stopped selling it. Dealer is to far away to pick up Yami oil so the million dollar question is has anyone used Lucas 0-40 motorcycle oil. Its wet clutch compatible and has 1,058ppm Zinc.
Can get mobile 1 but nothing for wet clutches in a 0-40 and no info on european formula as to whether it has friction modifiers.

You don't have a wet clutch. That was straight out of the R1 motorcycle manual reprinted in the RX manual. European 0-40 is what I use.

Fully aware of that! But the Starter sprag does not like friction modifiers! ie wet clutch compatible means no friction modifiers. Euro formula 0-40 does not say one way or the other if it has or does not have friction modifiers. Yamaha themselves say no friction modifiers!
Amsoil 0-40 has no modifiers!

Have used Castrol Syntec 0W30, Castrol Edge 0w40, Mobil 0w40, and Rotella T5 0w40, and don't laugh Arctic Cat Turbo 0w40 and Amsoil 0w40 oils. All without any issues except my sleds seemed to use more Amsoil than all the other oils. I buy my oil at Crappy Tire as well, as long as it's a brand name, synthetic, and is 0w30 or 0w40 and on sale. Have logged over 50,000 kms with no oil issues other than a cracked oil reservoir ( the oil must have been too heavy I guess, that's what Yammi told me, just kidding! ). Will be in your neck of the woods next week Sasquatch. Leaving in 30 minutes for a sled trip, hope I don't get frost bite up there.

I've been using the German Castrol 0W30 the last couple of years. If you Google "Bob the Oil Guy", there is buttload of info on how good this oil is.
Also Canadian Tire now sells Mystik 0W40 oil for sleds...take a peak here: http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/m...le-engine-oil-0w40-0281757p.html#.VNyesubF81I
I bought some on sale earlier this winter...plan on using it next year. From what I remember, it doesn't mention friction modifiers or additives.

Bob the oil guy was a good site but since it changed format it is impossible to find anything anymore.

I believe you find more of a preference and opinion rather than any fact on the topic of oil on this site. Royal Distributing does ship. My opinion of Lucas products is very good. I use many of their products for lots of things but have not used the one mentioned. Based on the Lucas track record for me I would not be afraid of it, as I do use the Lucas additives in my sleds with no ill effects.

Looked at it but have no clue what their additive packages are and the website give no sled info other then its the best on the market for two strokes!

I looked at that too. Did you see the MSDS & Product Information PDF files here? https://www.mystiklubes.com/do/product/SNOWMOBILE/663081002
I didn't look too closely at it to know what's good or bad about the chemicals in it, you probably have a better eye for it.
