Mach Z Shootout info

January 17th 2009 Indian Lake Manistique, MI is the date, open to all trail sleds, Ice drags, snow drags, and 2000 foot radar runs. This is a run what ya brung type of event with all sleds allowed, we really don't want sleds that require a cool down cart it is more geared for the trail/lake sled. There will be a heated pavillion with free food to all entries. Sleds from all manufacturers will be here racing for bragging rights and jackets for the fastest sleds of the day. We would like to get as many yamaha's as possible. Although it started as a Mach z shootout it has turned into a more of a muscle sled shootout. The track is already built and is being worked on every day to get the smoothest ice possible. The snow track will be approx 300 to 400 feet of snow tapered down to ice. The radar run track will be 2000 feet with enough shut down to pretty much coast to a stop. Anybody interested can pm me here or call 906-450-1827

Geez no response at all?? Sounds and looks like a well organized event, must be some turbos in the area.

we were going to head out there last year with 1 turbo, 1 s/c and a mach z big bore with a 150hp shot of juice, but......

the mach only lasted 2 shots of N2O before it popped the crank and then I cracked a header, so no long trip.

Thinking of next year, just can't do it this year.

We are going to see how it goes this year, we have had a real good response over on dootalk, who knows in a few years it could be huge! There aren't many turbo sleds in this area but there are supposed to be some coming. It's great to have all four brands at events like this! Maybe we'll se ya next year!
