Any ideas how to make my mtn handle a little easyer on the trails?
I would love to lower the sled to make it less likely to tip over in hard pack.
We dont get lots of powder over here so Im looking for a compromise.
Could the timbersled rear be lowered a few inches?

my sled is close to yours, but I did the fox flaots up front and the Simmons 10" skis. Even after bending my bars around the riser I still felt comfortable to run 70-80 mph on the trail. I think the skis do more than the shocks, and I pulled my sway bar as well.

I second that --- Simmons skis are like adding a wider frond end.
Very stable at speed.

How do they go in hard packed snow? Also are they a heavy ski?

Change the sway bar to a 12 mm from an RTX .

Timbersled front is great in the powder, but I like the stock much better for trail or firm snow. Also use the swaybar as mentioned. Also adjust your transfer accordingly.

Simmons are awesome on hard-pack---they were designed to eliminate darting and are still the best for that purpose.
Any stock or mod frond end I used was fine as long as the bushings are good.
I do new bushings al throughout from the handlebar down to the ski spindles each season, RX and Apexes eat bushings and there are so many of them that even a bit of movement in each one makes for sloppy handling.
