Hey Boston RX1, how much was the seat and riser? Was it articulated or strait off the stock? Did you have to buy new cables? Thanks for the info!

The seat was approximately $400.00. The riser was around $50.00. Is was not articulating. I was sent the wrong one and I just used it. To me, this is great. I was about 1/2" short with a hard left turn, so I put on a longer throttle cable. I did not check the invoice to get the cost of that.

Good discussion...I have an 05 and need better stand up riding options. Anyone have pics of what they have done? Is the 06 seat different then the 05? Do I really just need to change my bars and add a riser?

Do a few things to help it ride better for you. Don't dump a huge amount of money into it unless you plan on keeping it for quite some time. If not, leave it alone and trade up.
