We are getting some really good conditions in the Turtle Mountains lately. I have 550 miles to date and it keeps getting better. In the deep snow it is very nimble and carves very easily. Even with the narrow skis up front, it still floats very well. You can really feel the 144 work when on the gas. The front end goes skyward and you are off. I ride with an 800, 600 gade most often and a 700 Switch back. Has no problems keeping up with the 800 and in deep snow the 800 can not pull away on top end. When stuck the nytro does not feel any heavier lifting then the 800 gade either. I will say the gade is a much easier sled to ride. The Nytro really needs to be driven. I would not buy this sled for a cruiser. I bought this sled to have fun on and that is exactly what it does. The skis are not good on loose snow I find. In the hard pack and groomed stuff they seem to work very well in the corners. If the trails have some fresh snow or are really beat up then they push a bit. The hand warmers are keeping my hands warm, just not hot and my left hand is warmer then the right for some reason. They do have the capability to be hot if you put a cover over your hand. This leads me to think that it is wind protection that is killing the warmers. Maybe larger guards or wider windshield will let the warmers work better. I had to use a handlebar planket to keep my trigger hand warm when it was -44 one day (again left hand was warm) then my hand got so warm under the cover which is non insulated that I had to turn the warmers down. These covers are solely for wind protection. I also have an issue with a cold crotch. I have to wear a toque under my pants to keep that area warm. Need some type of deflector or something. That was a very painful day when I froze that area. And finally the ice build up in the tunnel. This only seems to happen in the deep snow when playing around. On the trail and hitting bumps and jumps it stays pretty clean. I tend to play in the deep stuff more so this is an issue to me. Gonna try a few things on this and will report.

All in all this is a really fun sled and I am really enjoying it.

Oh and I am getting up to 130 miles per tank of fuel. The least I am seeing is 100 when just pissing around.

If I can lay this sled down like this, anyone can do it!

I love your action shots! LoL Never seen a sled layed over like that before and not dead in the snow! For playing around in powder like that the Nytro is a blast. My hands would get too hot on my Apex. I never got cold hands yet but I never felt the warmers hot either on XTX. The hand guards will do a lot to keep your hands warm. I like to drive flat out on trails and lakes cross country. I get a bit nervous at speed when changing direction or slowing down sometimes. Something you don't feel on the XP or Polaris. If its fixable with suspension adjustments and limiter strap shortening. Thats great. I think it should be done before sending them out for production models though. I'm not happy with the handling but as I address things I'll post my feelings with changes.

The slowing down problem is the snow conditions. When my SE did it. (got nervous slowing down.) So did a Rev and a XP TNT that where riding with me.
