Howdy, looking on the Yamaha accessory website there are 3 marginal snow wheel kits:
  1. SMA-8FA95-01-00
  2. SMA-8FP95-00-00
  3. SMA-VKPRO-WH-KT
None of these are listed as compatible with a 2016 or newer VK Pro II. Has anyone tried mounting them on a '16 or newer model and did it work? If not, can anyone recommend alternatives? I'd like to mount them at the front curve of the rails where the sliders wear the most.

Thanks!

I stopped at the dealer last week and the “parts guy” had no idea what I was talking about.... had never heard of a marginal snow kit and told me Yamaha has t made the Viking in years. Very helpful.

Im considering building my own.

Existing hole near the front of the rail is ~1/16" too high to accept the bracket. Ground it out a smidge and the assembly mounted fine.

When the mounting bracket is slid along the rail lip the wheel makes contact with the track exactly below the existing hole in the rail.
