I'm adding a set of Marginal Snow Wheels to the front of the rails on my 2010 Vector. Has anyone put the wheels on the inside of the rails instead of the outside? The only disadvantage I can think of is the small wheels running on the heads of the studs on the center belt might cause some vibration. I don't have any studs on the outside belt, but if I did, then I'd have the same problem with the wheels on the outside. The reason I'd like them inside the rails is purely aesthetics. I think the tiny wheels on the outside with the zinc plated hex bolt holding them on will look cheap.

I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for but...
I mounted them towards the rear and I think you barely notice them. I would think you definitely don't want them rolling over your stud backers though.

I have mine mounted the same as "nealchick" on my Vector.
BTW... nealchick, WTF is up with the coolant lines on your tunnel?? Mine aren't exposed like that, & I've never seen any others like that either.
Just curious.

Re: someone's got some splainin to do
That would explain it. I guess mine has the hoses there, but the trim piece covers it.
Yep, I'd be in their A$$ telling them to get you the trim.

I'm seeing more wear at the front end of the sliders, just ahead of the existing front wheel.

X2, most mount on the outside of the front curve of the sliders. I don't think you can mount them to the inside, as there is no extrusion for the mounting blocks to lock into and I'm pretty sure the rubber nubs of the track would prevent wheel placement.

Re: pics
Curious if the dealer got you fixed up with your side panels yet and if so, what he said about it?
Also wanting to run a marginal snow kit in your same location on my Vector but have some concerns as mine is only a 121" skid??

missing pieces...
for those of you wondering, my dealer asked me to bring the sled in so they could look at it. I'm guessing to make sure I didn't wreck the thing and just want a piece. I get it but damn the dealer is an hour and a half drive each way.
Parts guy tells me there where two different builds in 2010 and one of them didn't have the piece. I said no, the differences where the placement of the reflectors and showed him what I meant. They claim that they must have not recieved the parts from the factory, yeah right. I'm sure the parts turned up after the build and some mechanic just threw them out. Anyway after he searched his fiche for what seemed like forever I convinced him to let me come around the desk and show him the pieces missing.
So he's looking on line and keeps pulling up pictures of 121 Apex's and saying he's not sure of the piece; I finally go back out to my truck and give him a picture of what it should look like and he then believes me about the parts I showed him I need.
Ok so parts guy has to go to the dealer owner and ask what to do, WTF you guys left parts off my sled, get them for me ASAP. So the owner is apologetic and says get them for him and get in on the sled.
Parts guy now says he's done what he can for now, he'll locate the parts and call me when they are in. So I tell him "look I live an hour and a half away. Can you just ship them to me and I'll put them on myself?" Dude says "yeah, but I'll have to charge you the shipping." I almost sh!t a brick. You left parts off my sled and you're gonna charge me shipping. Thankfully an older guy working there saw my face and jumped right in saying don't worry we'll take care of it.
So wait it is, and I don't have much confidence that I'll get the right part. I can only hope.

Nealchick, not sure what your other options are but that is one dealer I'd stay clear of if I could
(as if you already haven't figured that one out yourself, lol)

Chester? and Irv
Chester, they do all but eliminate the darting, dang close; I would recommend them.
Irv, unfortunately that dealer is the only one remotely close to me, but I do my own maintenance so if I can just score those correct parts that'll be the end of that relationship. I'll just have to travel 2.5+ hours to see a dealer.
