Red800, you want every advantage because the Attacks hook up very well and are just as fast as the Apexes. Some people say they are faster..... Just ask Allen to make sure you going to get a good full shift out of your clutches when it's all said and done.

sledfreak,i agree 100%, anybody that says 136's are slow have something to learn..his does hook up very well, we sometimes race on white lake with other sleds, and his attack and a renegade 800 p-t left me in the dust and others on the hole shot,i have alot of catching up to do but i do catch them and bro said im not ahead of him by much when we get to the other end..i have to make up about 10 sled lenghts before we reach the other side..a gear change and studds along with a kit would keep me with them on the holeshot, after that its adious..... ;)!

I can't see how running at 11,000 to 11,200 could work, but 11,200 you have lost more than 2 hp. Probbaly 5 or more. I love to test side by side sleds to see how that would work, especially on a stock motor. I just don't see why Yamaha would have left that much room on the table for it too work that well.

I have tested it side by side. 2 years ago there was about 15 of us on lake gogebic and we had 03-05 rx-1's and warriors and a proto 06 apex. The only two sleds that were faster on all out top end was and rx-1 on NOS and the apex. My warrior was all stock and was turning around 300-400 rpms then everyone else.

Would I beat them in a drag race........hell no. But I walked away on top end.

I usually dont just post BS for the fun of it. Eric
