Take off the seat and line up the muffler. Cut where the pipe ends. Or you could use a measuring tape.

Yep, easiest way.
When I took the MBRP off (too loud for me, chose the Ipod over exhaust) and went back to stock I had to add a little 2-3" coupler piece back in.
Measure twice, cut once

Dude, like me you bought MBRP. I found out later that while I thought I was gaining performance I was actually losing it. That and that can is just way too loud...cops catch me and its a citation back to factory exhaust.
Spoke with Chris Schmidt, of Schmidt bros motorsports- He mades things more clear, the mbrp eliminates most back pressure, the phazer needs some in order to remain efficient. He also pointed out the lack of Dyno testing MBRP did to back there claim of increased horsepower. I thought the guy way just trying to sell me something but no, big difference.
I ended up sending him my MBRP can and he gutted it and replaced it with his quiet core technology.
The MBRP is such a waste when you consider that for only 30 bucks you go down to your local Canadian Tire or Parts shop and buy a cherry bomb glass pack for a car. Same thing, just a straight tube with a little packing in the sides.
I just bought it cuz the price was right, especially when Chris Schmidts exhaust is 700$ if you want dual outlets, but then again there is a reason why its so expensive...he did the R&D and he's got the proof on paper.

Mine was already on it when I bought the sled.
Agreed though, it is a loud 5-0 magnet (NY loves handing out tickets for modified exhaust anyways) + the land owners don't need that #*$&@ at all hours.
Stock works fine
