A very reputable advertiser just told me that that exhaust does not flow as well as stock. The Dyno work was done at DynoTec.

Probably if you are a Dyno Tec subscriber you could get it. Sounded like it was in conjunction with a YamCharger and some other mods that were tried on a 2011. They made comment that it did not flow as well as the stock exhaust.thunderbolt said:Really , any published data ? The YamCharger made 18 something HP with a PC-V.

Exhaust system's for an Apex is the poorest gain per dollar there is!
Spend your money on other thing's or save it for a YamCharger or save some more for an MCX Turbo if power is what you are looking for. And what ever you do keep it quiet!! There was a Nytro last year that was so annoyingly loud, the kid should have been slapped! There were even other sledder's flipping him off and pissed because it was so ridiculous, and of course he couldn't stay off the flipper.

I hear ya , thats why I said "any aftermarket exhaust that's not abnoxiously loud that has performance improvement"And yes there is other mods that are more cost effective , however for example if your going to increase the efficientcy of the intake , ya gotta get the exhaust out quicker aswell .kviper said:Exhaust system's for an Apex is the poorest gain per dollar there is!

Also performance doesn't always have to be loud

Not saying it can't be done but generally if it's not louder there is little to no gain, and the best case cenario is 2 to 3 HP for $500 to $600, at least on these sled's any way.
