Just got my new 3k Volvo Kit today from MC.
Looks sharp, BIGGER turbo over the 16T mits one.
Going to take awhile to get it all in there. waiting for rods till next week.
doing rods, pistons, turbo, ski's, UDXR race pak, boost controller, bar riser, new cables, LH throttle, tunnel, 9 tooth extroverts, rear brackets, Team clutch, 159 x 2.5, intergraded MP3 music

Devin, what year is your sled? The 05' has alot of weight transfer and on 9lbs boost with a 162x16x2.3 track in powder on a hill my sled just wants to flip over backwards all the time if you stay wicked. I thought it was just me, but my dealer had his out last weekend and he has the same track and his does the same thing :shock: I can not imagine how you could ride it with even more power and stay on the pin? The only way to stop this is hit the hill faster at the bottom, then it just pulls the skis a 1' or two, then the problem becomes too much speed sometimes. Its a hoot to ride just on the back idler wheels, but on steep hills it becomes a hand full. My dealer did the piston thing so he can crank his boost up, I want be there when he does as I think it going to flip even faster. I have yet to hit a hill that mine won't climb in major powder on 9lbs (If I don't screw up and stand it on the dove tail) Yours should be one HELL of a ride.

I only have that problem on my 03 (with Holz skid) when I broke my limiter straps. Usually keep my straps about 7" long, works good that way. You will probably have to play around with your rear skid settings or mounting positions to come up with something that transfers less.

I'll maybe change the skid and front arms kit to holtz in the spring when I recoop from the killer bill now. and when the wife stops yelling.
I'm planning on running up to and maybe over 22lbs boost. we will see how the egt's are and air / fuel stay in safe range. no need to spend $30,000 can to blow it up.
I'll prolly change to a 162 x 16 x 2.3 when I can aford one but till then running a 159 x 15 x 2.5 pegger camo track. ( came with it )
I'll play with limiter straps and transfer rods
I'm 230lbs so want it stiff
getting so stoked, I'll post some pics prolly next week when we pull the motor and skid.
