:4STroke: Still a little fine tuning to go yet, but here is a video of how it runs so far. This was shot at 6300ft.

LINK>>>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8k6Y9jxF4K8

I removed the original muffler provided with the kit, and installed this 2lb muffler I found on eBay. It sounds good and works well.

12- pounds boost @12000rpm

Powder snow is plugging filter at times. Should improve with side shields.

Clutching is close, hits rev limiter if W.O.T. from stop. Adding shims to prmary to get engagement up to 5000.

Changed top gear to 18 tooth, 138km/hr(85m/hr)at rev-limiter. Still Picks skis of the ground at 100km/hr

The USA distributor(Mark Leipheimer) told me not to use the side panels because they would trap too much heat. The rear cowling, with a skinny muffler, seems like the place to mount intake.

That was some huge diameter, must be a bit noisy ?
I ran with a sraight pipe, while I waited for the muffler to show up. I think the muffler is probably half as loud as the pipe...... you can hear it in the video I posted earlier.

How much more weight did you have to throw on the clutch compared to stock muffler ?

Thanks... it could be some help. But I have the Super Tips weights and nothing else is done yet to the clutching. First thing is maybe to put some shims in there.

I am thinking you have the right muffler setup. ;)!
Did that have an application for that glasspack. I'de like something similar on mine. Thanks

I found the muffler on Ebay. Check out these ones below. Copy and paste the Item numbers into the search window on Ebay.

Item #270094511238 <<<***This is the one I bought***
#250089624562 <<<Similar, same length
#150096877486 <<< Similar as well

-Cut the MC muffler inlet pipe flush off at the flange.
-Cut the inlet pipe off the glass pack and have a muffler shop expand and weld a 2-1/2" long piece of 2" pipe to inlet.
-Mount the muffler where you want it and transfer the angle of the flange to the pipe and cut.
-Match mark, tack and check fit.
-If ok, weld to flange

**Do Not weld on sled, you'll kill the ECU
** I found a good muffler mount at Canadian Tire

Good luck
