I just purchased this apex w a mc kit. There is a barb fitting on the intercooler for a 1/4 hose, but it is capped off. The rubber cap is cracked, obviosly loosing pressure. Is this welded on fitting a inlet line for something. There is a bov on the right side of the intercooler. The capped off nozzle is in front of the bov on the intercooler. I have a boost gauge on it that works, not sure if its something that was pulled off and capped.

Pretty sure there the barb fitting is been welded on to pressurize the OEM barometeric pressure sensor located in front of the battery. Mcx recomends this if kit is used higher than 1500meter elevation. Later kits have a fitting installed in the bov in the plenum. Mcx also recomends to to relocated the baro sensor higher than the fitting so moist does not collet in the hose.

Look at this link on SW - it has a picture where you can find the OEM baro sensor. According to mcx it is suppose to be pressureized when using the sled over 1500 meter (4921 feet)

Just run a vacum hose from the barb fitting to the OEM baro sensor
