Last year I bought a rear mount apex. This summer I stripped it down to go through evrerthing and prep it for this season. I noticed the intake tube that comes from the pre-cooler in the tunnel goes in where the tank is and then proceeds through the gap between the frame and the top of the engine (over the oil fill cap). The rubber tube seems to be quite flat and squished. Is this the correct routing? Seemd inefficient. Thanks for any advice.

Yup, that's the correct routing. The silicone tube you are referring to comes pre-formed that way from MCX; nothing to be concerned about.

I've done a few of these installs, I'll see if I can find a pic for reference.

Thank you very much for the re

Thank you so much for the reply. Thats interesting. And yes a picture would be greatly appreciated if you did have one available. Thanks again.

Sorry, Checked and don't have one. Post a pic of yours and I'll let you know if something looks wrong.

Thanks gents for the help. Just seemed like a very restricting way of doing it, but what do I know haha!

why not notch the frame right there?

Hey, are you selling a seat? Check your PM's.
