Hello everyone, Im planing on buyin the new Mcx stage 1 kit with the 19T, Price I think is 6000$,Is there anything more than the kit I need to buy to run this, like New cogs?

I would recommend a WBO2 system, a boost meter and a boost controller. You could buy MCX own Display unit it offers all of the above, it comes with WBO2 Sensor, controller unit, boost controller, software. It does all what a WBO2 does and then some and it has data logging capabilities with up to 6 hours storage of logged data. With the Display unit you can plug your laptop or handheld computer via USB, download the maps from the MCX EFI controller, edit boost and fuel maps and reload it into the MCX EFI controller.
Read about it at http://www.mcx.se
I would also recommend no-slip extrovert drivers to prevent ratcheting.
The turbo kit themselves are very reliable, and so is the sled running the turbo kit if installed correctly and run with the appropriate fuel octane for the boost. If you leave the kit as setup from MCX you can run all day long on pump premium 93 octane (M+R)/2
Depends on your wrenching skills, if you have been into DOHC engine before then go for it, if not it's a bit harder but not impossible. It will take a lot of time if it's your first time out.
Can't help you with pricing on install. Do you have a reputable speed shop somewhere near you?

Just ordered the kit myself. Its a bit pricey but i felt it was the best for what I will be doing. Just make sure you take your time installing it.

Innovate and AEM have widebands. Personally, I wouldn't worry about the wideband because you can't adjust it. You could run a knock-box for deto insurance, although I haven't run either in 4 years of running lot's of MC's. Run it as it's shipped on fresh premium and it'll be good. I would definitely run a boost guage and check the boost level. if you use a controller, you will have to take their compensator out of the line. The drivers are a good idea as you'll not have to keep your track as tight, get a pair of Avid drivers (google) Not sure what teeth on the LTX but you need 1-1/16 shaft size.

Get the MCX Display unit, you will have all adjustability you need (execpt for ignition timing) with datalogging capabilities to go with it.
The MCX Display unit offers:
Boost gauge
Boost controller - boost map adjustability
AFR Gauge
Fuel map adjustability
Datalogging
Interface via USB to a computer (laptop, PC, handheld)
MegaTune Software for tuning your MCX Display engine management system.
I have used it a lot last winter helping my friend tuning his Attak with MCX310 kit on board. I can tell you all this, the stock fuel and boost maps was not even close. A few days of tuning woke the sled up BIG TIME as boost was off as well as fuel maps.
There was no evidence that his sled was running bad, it did not miss a beat, but there was obviously a lot left on the table for us to improve on.
We improved on racing from a standstill to 130 MPH from 12 seconds before tuning to 9 seconds with tuning the fuel delivery and boost level to 16 lbs, clutching tuning obviously had to be a part of the package!!!!!

Rxrider, that unit sounds like a heck of an idea. I just had a couple of kits remapped and purchased 270 kits but it sounds like I may be able to really dial them in with that. Do you know if it can be used to dial in one machine and then moved to another? I do a few MC's but my supplier was a little vague when I asked.

Yes you can store any mapping you create on your computer then reload it into another machine. We have tried it but what worked like a dream in one sled did not in another. It is possible but each machine seems to be somewhat different from the other so tweaking is to be expected when swapping mappings.
We have only good to say about the tuning capabilities with the MCXpress Display unit, the datalogging it offers is priceless

What I am wondering is once I dial one machine using the display unit and software, can I then take it off that machine, leaving it dialed in and go and do another machine with it, tuning the second machine as required? I want to have both machines dialed in for peak performance without having to leave the display on either one.

With the new ECU (the thin one) the move is done in seconds because the display have it's own connector on it, with the old ECU (thick and with big connector) on both sleds it is done almost as fast if you prepare some cables to be left in the contact and have fastconnectors on the cables.

Thanks, the new kits have the new thin ECU. Will talk to the distributor and see how soon he can get me a display and software package. Kits are still in boxes, waiting for a few parts still.
