Mega-tall / Mega -wide

Wondering if anyone had/has, the mega tall / mega wide windshield on there RS.

I have a feeling that the 07 Rage's windshield is going to be cold on the hands
and I'm preparing myself for options.
Is it a lot warmer then the original venture shield?

Wouldn't be able to compare,my sled came with this windshield.But I can tell you it blocks a lot of wind on your hands most rides I just use a thin pair of motorcycle gloves.And when someone gets cold they always want to ride my sled.

i started with this on my sled

then went to this before i headed to the UP last year when the temps were -20 below at night and highs of 5 above during the day. its the xtra large but not the mega. it kept the wind off me just fine.

ahhh come on its not that cold with a low windshield, I run the stock windshield on my nytro, just crank the heat up, and ride like you stole it!

I got the stock windshield on mine. I have no issue except the back of my fingers get cold.

I went the gauntlet route. Very inexpensive, and only there when you need them.

I hear ya on that.
I can tolerate the wind in my chest and head, but cold fingers can make for a miserable day.
What gauntlets do you use?

I've had the xxxtall windshield for several seasons, traded to a x tall last season due to a scratched old shield, big difference with wind in my chest, I froze. I am thinking of the wide and xxx tall sheild also.

I had no problems with my stock windshield on my Vector. It wasn't until I added a handlebar riser did my hands start to feel cold. I ended up installing hadguards and no problems since.

I just installed the mega wide windshield a hour ago, it looks big but it sure deflects the wind and snow.
