I don't know about the Mach first hand, just the stuff I've read here, but have heard its mighty fast. I have been up against the Apex on all ends and stock for stock it could not be beat against an RX. I'd still believe the Mach will hold its title, but I'll still ride my Apex. When it comes to modified sleds I'll go with the Apex.

Just tell the MachZ you will time him for from point A point B and see who wins.....make sure the stretch is 1-2 miles and he'll never make it...

Ran with one this weekend on the tar stock other than Boondocker system w/10 5/8 track and best passes were 10.6,10.7 and 10.8 he made it the to the finals though.
Was it Chuck Hammeras, or Billy Howards?

I'm of the opinion that if my Apex runs close to a mach I'll be happy
The mach is 170 hp and a 2 stroke
The apex is 150 hp and a 4 stroke
I think many people are going to be suprised how well the Apex sleds run!!!!

Well if the turbo is a bit of a worry there is always Chuck Hamrah tricks. He has his Mach Z twin with porting and CS pipes rocking on the tar. It ran 9.7 ish at 130's at a very hot track in Grand Bend last weekend. I am sure it will be working even better as the temps get cooler. Great job so far PS1000.

It's got to be close to 190 hp or more to run that kind of time.

As soon as the Apex comes in, then everyone will know, probably only a month or so to go.

The MachZ will be faster. But the Apex is a better overall sled. Drinks less fuel, more reliable, more comfortable, looks ten times better and so on.....

I really could care less if its faster! Ski doo engines do not hold up period! They have a very decent fit and finish but they tune their engine to close to the edge!
