Any ideas as to why this would leak???

Just under the vent not much but should I be concerned?

Any oil coming from crankcase vent is cause for concern. Most of the time means engine has severe blowby past piston rings and cylinders. I would do a leakdown before running it again to be sure. Deto is more often than not, the culprit.

I had the same thing. It happened alot for the first 500 miles of my rebuilt motor. Now I dont get any. I am guess it was my rings seating?? Hopefully.

Would it be more common on pre-'05 motors that typically used oil, because those rings arent seating 100%?
