Can someone tell me what I may use to buff out some minor scrtches I got on the shiney plastic piece by the front windshied I was taking it off the front parts a change a headlight. These are very minor scrathes but I tried to wax them out and no luck any help is appreciated.

Go to an O'rielly's or something, and buy a buffing wheel that will fit in an drill. Us a generous ammount of a light buffing compound, and starting slow, buf the scratches out. If this is something that scares you to do, haul it over to a local body shop and ask them to buff them out for you. Chances are if you call ahead, they would do it while you wait.

3M Hand Glaze works really well and is light enough that you don't have to worry about removing paint. I know you can get it a Napa
There is a glaze made by 3M, , I use it for everything plastic. I'll get you the name and part number tommorrow.

One question is whether you can feel the scratch with your fingers. If the scratch is very obvious to the touch it may not come out. If not, then some polishing compound might work. I wonder is scratch X from Meguiers would work ... it works on minor scratches in clear coat automotive finishes.
